Ichiran Main Shop

I did not enjoy this location as much as the other one in Fukuoka. There seemed to be a less intimate atmosphere due to the size. I understand why, but I would not choose this place over the other. The food was of course wonderful and came out rather quickly with utmost care.

When you are in Fukuoka you definitely MUST EAT TONKOTSU RAMEN!!! This is one of my favorite places and also Ichiram’s main shop. Great service, good toppings and nice atmosphere.

It was nice. Cosy atmosphere, lotsa options on how the noodles were prepared. Up to the firmness of the noodles and how strong you want the broth to taste .

Ichiran is so good that... I actually never really care to go anywhere else in the city for ramen. Yeah, seriously. It's more expensive then the typical ramen bowl you'll find around japan, this is true. But seriously, that broth and spice can't be rivalled. Great ordering system as well, I love the easy customization. As someone who detests bean sprouts also it's nice to find a ramen place not loaded with them. Haha. ALWAYS add an egg! You won't regret it

Ichiran never disappoints. The rich, thick pork broth flavour is so delicious. I love the thin noodles too. A bit more costly than the other ramen shops but it's a must try!

I still very much like the taste of Ichiran’s ramen! Wanted to try different atmosphere by sitting together (not the private one). No queue by the time we arrive..

On top of being delicious, the ramen I had here was exquisitely prepared to look worthy of a wedding photo - even the spring onions were chopped to machine-like even lengths. Of note is how their sliced pork are well cooked through but retains a delicate firmness. This noodle chain offers customisable options (firmness of noodles, strength of broth, level of chilli) for you to arrive at your ideal ramen. This branch also offers customers to play a roulette to win small prizes such as a mini store memento.

So glad to visit to i Jean main store. Price is great under 900yen compare in New York. Taste was awesome so ordered more noodles. Worth to visit main store.

Go for the extra thick and medium spicy ramen. Soooo good. Went twice.

Big fan of Ichiran since having it years ago! Was great to finally make it to the original store, only to find that their prices have increased!! After finishing my bowl, it also seems that the portion is smaller! Not sure if it's just at this location or not. None the less, still great tonkotsu ramen.

Better than Taiwan~~~Not the best but better one

Very lucky there was no queue when I arrived around 1:15pm. There’s two options when dining in (1st floor: table service; 2nd floor: booth service). The order machine has description of how to order which was super helpful. When you finished payment, staff will direct you to your booth. Second step is to order how would you like your ramen done. I understand why this ramen is so popular in many countries after eating it. Decent soup, simple condiments, and the chashu pork! The portion was a bit too small for me but you can certainly add more noodles for additional charges if you want. Overall great experience if you don’t need to queue in line 😋

It was my 3rd time eating ramen in Ichiran and it is still freaking delicious as always! tho they have increased their price since last August but that's okay, it's still worth dying for!

As a foreigner, I can’t tell the difference as a ramen connoisseur can... but, to me, this was amazingly delicious thick pork broth with solid noodles. Egg was boiled to perfection - not too hard, not to runny. Bit more expensive than typical Japanese shops but worth it!

Very good ramen with a very broth. You have an option to eat at the booth area or the open area. The place is 4 floors high. Not sure how busy it gets during lunch/dinner hours but outside of that it is quite empty and no wait to enter. You order via the vending machine and when you sit you get to choose some options for your ramen- level of broth depth, how much chill, garlic, etc. For me this is one of the top places for a good satisfying ramen. Prices are reasonable for such a famous place.

This ramen is rich and full of flavor. You get to choose what you want from a list of ingredients (also in English!). I really enjoyed eating there and I will definitely go back!

Having been to Ichiran multiple times, I can say that in every branch, the taste is just the same. The brand is keepong the right quality of their product. I love coming back to Ichiran!

Love Ichiran Ramen. The noodle, the broth, half-boiled-egg and Charsiu. Although there are some queue for us to get into the restaurant, however it’s totally a worth trip to eat in Ichiran Main Restaurant for experience!

No queue during light rain at 6:30pm and managed to get the first floor. You will be greeted in the lobby and asked if you want 2nd floor (individual seat) or first floor which is more like store style. Everything is directed by the staff to buy tickets, take orders and served to you. Food: Took the medium broth and personally too thick for me. I prefer the recommended version previously.

Worth every penny, just go here eat and enjoy the experience

One of the more famous ramen restaurants in Fukuoka, Japan. Expect a wait especially if coming during peak hours. First floor has an area for group dining, on the second (and higher floors), you'd have a solo booth to eat your ramen. We were a pair but we opted to stay at the solo booth for that unique experience. Very delicious and rich broth with freshly made noodles - you can adjust the taste according to your liking once you filled out the order paper given to you.

Trying ramen for the first time smells made soup with pork ã‚‚ some oil noodles feels thinner than pasta some noodles are a little hard thank you

1st floor is open for guests with multiple people. I recommend you the 2nd floor if you go alone or in a pair. The ramen is highly customizable to your tastes and is of great quality.

If you are a big fan of Ichiran (though there are many other good ramen shops throughout Japan) you must try their main headquarter store!

Because of the fact that it’s the original branch, we quite couldn’t contain ourselves, honestly. Thanx God the line was short .. we wouldn’t have to wait until we starved to death. After paying at the machine, a staff handed us the check-list order before allowing us to get in. Our ramens tasted heavenly as expected. Happy ending indeed‼️🍜
